An update on Covid-19 and Life Force Chiropractic:

Covid-19 has impacted everyone now in some way, shape or form and we don’t know when things will settle down, as they are continuously unfolding as we speak. We hope that everyone is taking necessary precautions and staying healthy and safe.

With that being said, chiropractic offices have been advised by the Washington State Chiropractic Association (WSCA) to remain open and accept patients as usual. We are recognized as ESSENTIAL HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS by the Washington State Department of Health and the WSCA.  As stated by the WSCA in their Updated Position Statement on Covid-19 released on 3/18/2020, “This is a public health emergency and we have an important role to play. In light of the heavy burdens other segments of the healthcare system are currently experiencing, we have a special duty to continue to provide the care that patients need, and cannot receive elsewhere.

Most chiropractic patients present with musculoskeletal conditions, and many do not have primary care physicians. Without their preferred healthcare providers, those patients will either compound the burden on emergency facilities, or they will attempt to treat themselves. Self-diagnosis and treatment are dangerous even in the absence of a public health emergency, and even more so now. Chiropractors are uniquely situated to address these and other cases.”

We are continuing to take proper sanitation measures and have been implementing additional protective measures in our office during this time. We also highly recommend everyone who needs to be seen, to do so by appointment only so that we can minimize congestion in the reception area.

As far as we know, even with the “stay at home” order in place, that individuals will still be able to leave the house to attend doctor’s appointments. Many of you have chosen to stay in for good and wait until this settles down and we support this decision 100%. For the others who find that they are in need of our services, we are here to help!

We advise that if you are experiencing a fever or any symptoms of lower respiratory distress, including cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing, to please stay home.

Both Dr. Little and Dr. McAuley are more than happy to discuss anything of importance in regards to your health or wellness over phone or email if need be so don’t hesitate to connect with us.

We don’t know where any of this is truly headed and we will continue to update you in the event that things change and/or our office hours change.

Take care of yourself, stay happy and safe.
