Do we offer health consultations?

Yes our Puyallup Chiropractors offer Consultations. This allows you to meet the Doctor and see if this is right place for you. If our Doctors feel you would be better served with another form of treatment, they willrecommend or refer you to a different provider. You will be able to tell your doctor your current health problems and what types of treatment you have tried so far. Your doctor will be able to get to know you and see how they can help you. If you have been experiencing symptoms for about one week or less, your condition is what we would describe as acute. It is important to not let these symptoms go on and on, for they are warning signals that a deeper problem exists in the body. If you have had your symptoms more than two weeks to a month you are in the sub-acute phase. This means that when you were first injured weeks have passed and normally these symptoms would go away by themselves unless an underlying cause has gone undetected in the body. If your symptoms have not lessened, but are the same or getting worse, it is important to see us for a consultation immediately. These symptoms left untreated will progress to a chronic condition usually affecting your body's ability to adapt and function properly, and new symptoms can begin to arise. For instance, if you've had a headache once a month or a couple times a year, we would say that is normal, but if you are having headaches 2 to 3 times a week and that has been going on for months or years, we would tell you that is not normal and if it were one of our team, we would want to find out why this was happening to us. Another example would be if you have digestive issues once in a while when you eat something spicy that would be considered normal, but if you experience digestion troubles multiple times a week and that has been going on for months or years that would not be normal. Again if it was one of us we would want to know why this is happening to us. It is our goal to find the cause of your health concern and find the best treatment option to return you to a healthy state.
